The magician invites a boy from the audience to help with the trick. First, the magician shows two sheets of thin colored paper and begins tearing them up. When the torn pieces are crumpled and unfolded surprise! they transform into a pair of striped paper trunks (underpants)! The magician holds the trunks in front of the boy's pants and says, "Hmm, maybe they're a bit too big?" a line that always gets a big laugh from the audience. Giving the trunks to the child as a gift makes the moment even more fun.
You can also combine this trick with the "PAPER TO HAT #10"(
P5141) from the same series. Tell a friend or child that you're going to make them a hat, but first turn the paper into trunks instead. Then say something like, "Oops, I messed up!" and go on to perform the paper hat trick. This adds a humorous twist to the routine and makes it even more entertaining.
Each performance uses one set of consumables, but we offer a value pack of 10 sets at a special price.
The "Paper Fantasy" series is a line of magician exclusive consumable tricks that professionals rely on day in and day out.
