The magician shows the deck of cards and asks a spectator to choose one card. The magician then tears off a corner of the selected card and hands it to the spectator for safekeeping. The card, now missing a corner, is returned to the deck, which is shuffled thoroughly and placed into the Top Hat Table. With a touch of magic on the top hat, the cards inside burst out like a fountain. Among the flying cards, the magician brings out the TV Card. Inside the two transparent panels of the TV Card, the spectator's chosen card, with the missing corner, is securely captured. The magician removes the card from between the transparent panels and hands it to the spectator for examination. The torn corner matches perfectly with the one they were holding.
