The magician shows four cards. As they reveal each card, three of them are Rails, while the fourth card shows an Engine. The magician then turns the cards face down and places the Engine card on the rightmost side, arranging the Rails cards in a way that suggests the Engine is ready to travel along them. However, as the magician turns each Rails card face up, a Bridge appears on the first card, followed by a Tunnel on the next card. Finally, to everyone's surprise, the Engine, which should have been at the right end, is seen crossing the Bridge, passing through the Tunnel, and emerging from the left end. Moreover, the Tunnel has real hole!
This exceptional effect was created and routined by the famous Japanese close up magician, SHIGEO FUTAGAWA.
